Inside Groove Supermodified Podcast Episode 141- Hello to a new friend, goodbye to an old friend
Guest: Supermodified rookie Jr. Farrelly

Welcome to Episode 142 of the Inside Groove Show, the nation's premier Supermodified and Northeast short track podcast hosted by Tom Baker and produced by Steering Wheel Nation.

This episode is a bit of a roller coaster, as Tom Baker meets a new friend and shares a heartfelt goodbye to an old one. 2024 Supermodified rookie Jr. Farrelly, a longtime Canadian supermodified fan who has raced late models for many years, joins the show to talk about why it was the right time for him to live his dream of jumping into a methanol monster to compete at the famed Oswego Speedway, a track he and his family grew up attending.

Tom also says goodbye to long-time friend Karl Schartner, the father of SBS racer Andrew Schartner, who passed away last month at the age of 76. Tom talks about meeting Karl and Andrew when Andrew started racing at age 9, shares stories of his time spent in and outside of racing with Karl, and pays tribute to the man who made a life-long impact on everyone whose lives he touched.
