On this week’s edition of the Inside Transportation Podcast, we had two very special guests join us.

On the first half of the show, we have Scott Case, the co-founder and CEO of Recurrent, a clean tech startup focused on collecting more comprehensive data about used electric vehicle batteries. Recurrent relies on real life battery and driving data from EV owners to give a closer look at battery data and more.

A clean energy buff, Case explains the key role used EVs will have on climate change. Scott also tells us what it was like launching a mobility-focused startup during the pandemic.

In the second half, we have Roei Ganzarski, the CEO of magniX, a startup working on electric propulsion systems for airplanes.

As we get ready to get back to flying on a normal basis, magniX hopes to challenge the status quo by empowering aviation companies to offer electrified airplane rides. Roei and Johan discuss why it took so long for the industry to create an electric-powered aviation solution, while also exploring themes about the viability of the electrified airplanes and how the future of mobility will be powered by small and regional airports.
