I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Dr. Sean Kelly on his Ph.D. work in German Idealism (i.e. primarily Hegel), psychology of religion (i.e. primarily Carl Jung) with his mentor John P. Dourley at the University of Ottawa in the late 1980s and how it eventually led him to get involved in the transpersonal psychology movement and becoming a founding faculty member of the California Institute of Integral Studies program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Studies.
