Stablecoins have seen strong growth in recent times, and with it demand for the underlying assets it uses to back it up. This could lead to growing short-term risks for markets of these underlying assets from precious metals to commercial paper, according to Fitch Ratings. Alastair Sewell and Monsur Hussain, Senior Directors at Fitch, joined us on Prime Time to discuss their report and what risks investors and regulators should track as the adoption of stablecoins rise.
