Although the mix he made for the Introspections Podcast is highly ambient in nature. Tore usually finds it hard to remain in any one musical language for long, and tend to work in a lot of different genres and styles. His composing process is usually one of endless tinkering, where a musical idea can lie around in an unfinished state for years before he is somehow compelled to finish it. He has a myriad of projects in wildly varying states of completion, which affords him the luxury of being able to work in many different directions at the same time. The ambient sounds featured in this mix are mostly done with a blend of different layering techniques, with piano textures running as a common thread throughout, (hopefully) creating a detailed musical landscape that invites immersion and reflection.
