Ipsos Survey Research Methods Centre Podcast, with the Office for National Statistics: How can Agile development approaches help us to deliver better surveys? (2/3) Agile is a family of development approaches where products and services are designed in an incremental and iterative fashion. Born from the field of software development, its use has expanded to many other fields, including those of survey development and survey methodology. In the second of our three-part podcast series in collaboration with the Office for National Statistics, Tom Huskinson, head of Ipsos UK’s Survey Research Methods Centre, is joined by Ebony Armstrong and Dan Thomas from the Office of National Statistics to talk about their recently released survey development toolkit, which focusses on Agile survey development. Ebony Armstrong is a Senior Data Specialist in the Government's Data Quality Hub, and Dan Thomas is a Research Officer working in the Government Statistical Service's Harmonisation Team.
