In this bonus episode of the #IsThisOK Podcast, Kate Green from TfGM and Eve Holt from GM Moving join our group of men from Greater Manchester for a conversation about gender-based violence on public transport. We talk about the ways men and boys can help women and girls feel safer and highlight the support that's already available across the network.
More than 7 in 10 women of all ages in the UK have experienced some form of sexual harassment in public. Women and girls deserve to feel safe, including when on all forms of transport.
Public transport is well-used across Greater Manchester, even more so in the lead up to Christmas and the New Year. Men and boys acknowledging and addressing behaviours is the first step in challenging gender-based violence.
