We are excited to share ideas on how to cope when too much becomes too much. The unplanned is a big asterisk in Having and Doing It All. Here, we discuss the effects of overbooking and how to widen our margins through prioritization when it all begins to pile up.

In This Episode:

  • How do we know when too much is too much?
  • When we do more and overbook ourselves, we have a much harder time being present in anything we do.
  • Overbooking and being busy as a status symbol – how can we combat this?
  • Planning for the unplanned and building that into the calendar
  • How to use the Eisenhower Matrix to better prioritize every day, and especially during times of overwhelm.
  • Saying no, or I can’t do that now, but can do that then. When we say no to something, we can say yes to something else.
  • Getting clear on where you want to be spending your time.
