It’s really an honor to have 3 new friends on our show today who are walking that journey. Elisabeth, Joshua and Bethany have just returned to the States from being missionaries with their parents and we want to hear their perspective on living life in a country other than their parents’ homeland.Journeys….there are verses in the Bible that highlight those who tell others about Jesus. In the book of Romans chapter 10 and verses 14-15 we read, 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! God delights in people who are willing to go into all the world and tell others about the saving grace of Jesus.
Missionary Kids or MK’s are often referred to as TCK’s (Third Culture Kids) and have some amazing character qualities that are developed because of their resiliency and ability to adapt well. However, it may be hard for MK’s to articulate some of the struggles and blessings they face with having to live in countries far from their relatives. But today, we want to hear from these 3 young people who are willing to share a glimpse into their lives so that we can know how best to pray for Third Culture Kids.
