Professor Molinsky discusses his research that has revealed that the reason people find it difficult to step outside their comfort zone usually comes down to one or more of the following 5 elements:

  • Authenticity
  • Likability
  • Competence
  • Resentment
  • Morality

Professor Molinsky shares how people wanting to bridge the gap and get beyond their comfort zone can do so by using the three C’s: Clarity, Conviction, and Customization.

Professor Molinsky also expands on his belief that "... you are more powerful than you think ...".

Co-hosts Kevin Garber and Kate Frappell also discuss this week's tech news including Facebook now allowing businesses to post job openings on their pages and new cutting edge technology that allows disabled people to type with their thoughts.
