By the end of the 1980s Rap had REALLY begun to take off in a way no one expected: especially not the music industry. With the success of groups like Run DMC and the Beastie Boys and artists like LL Cool J, boys from all over the country started dreaming of being rappers when they grew up. Two of these boys would become the greatest Rappers of their generation, only to see their stardom quickly taken from them, along with their life.
