These days there seems to be so much focus on social media, which is why every second person you meet at a networking event is a social media marketing expert.

Now don't get me wrong, I agree social media is important, but I still think there is room for old-school traditional marketing.

And the newspaper is one of those old-school marketing mediums that I believe still has some benefits and still works if it is used correctly.
