In this episode of the It’s Not About The Money podcast (formerly the In Her Financial Shoes podcast), I am going to be exploring the 6 different ways for budgeting and how to identify the one that is right for you.

We have been looking at how we can use our Money StoryType® over a number of episodes and this week we will begin to unpack the best way to budget that compliments your Money StoryType®.

There is no cookie-cutter approach to budgeting and as your relationship with money evolves over time, so will the way in which you manage your money. I used to think that a budget would remove the joy that money brought me but I am going to show you how you can create a spending plan that will empower you and move you to a place of abundance.

In this episode:

  • Why you need a budget

  • Shifting the language and behaviour around budgets

  • How your perspective can impact the way you budget

  • Ensuring that you remain a priority throughout your budget
