17:53 - FKA Twigs announced her collaboration with the activewear line On. The girls discuss the genius behind this partnership and why it actually is very on brand for a celeb collab for once. Later on the girls discuss AI and their mutual love for the fashions in the movie The Matrix.
24:29 - Walmart broke the internet this week as some online sleuths discovered you can now purchase Hermes Birkins directly through Walmart.com. This discovery lead Lina and Drea down a rabbit hole leading them to the real answer why and it has to do with the downfall of a mainstream luxury retailer. Would you buy a Birkin from Walmart or does the janky interface give you pause?
34:26 - Rihanna has been hitting the pavement promoting her latest launches and being the bad B we know and love. The girls discuss her latest looks and some buzzy interview quotes that have been making the rounds online. The girls discuss what about Rihanna makes her so alluring and charismatic. They also speculate on the reasons why Rihanna hasn’t given us what we really want; MUSIC!
43:27 - Hype beasts gird you loins! Hedi Slimane might be out at Celine! The rumor mill was in full effect this week with the news that the infamous Creative Director’s contract with LVMH was up for negations. Lina and Drea speculate on why fashion conglomerate might let the notorious Slimane go and what that looks like for the future of the brand and most importantly, the store in Miami Design District. Later on the Drea reveals one of her deepest fears, the mannequins at Nordstrom. Lina talks about Miami’s garment district and the existence of BBL shaped mannequins.
