On this episode we're skanking right along with the third installment of Skatoberfest! My good friend Sara Bassick (Johnny & The Limelights, Summer Girlfriends) joins me as we visit Berkeley's own Operation Ivy's Energy, considered by many to be the very first ska-core album. We discussed our early punk roots, what the Boston scene was like for a young punk girl and how they've played a role in our values as adults. I also plug the hell out of my current favorite soda and rant on my hatred of suburban chain restaurants. This ones for the punks!!
