This is a little poem by the clever, witty, contemporary poet Wendy Cope. Poetry is coming back into fashion...maybe it has never really been out! Do check out Wendy Cope....she is a delight. I recorded this as a little gift for a friend, who had just given me a wonderful lunch for Christmas 2022.
