Always swapping things up and changing genres at a breakneck pace, the boys are talking about singer/songwriters this week. The opener is a bit contemplative, but the guys are still having fun while talking about the greatest saxophonist name ever, albums appearing out of the blue, an unbelievably well-produced live album, Jay's album listening ritual, a song that reminded Joey of Boogie Nights, what listening to sad/dark music might say about us and society, an album from a legend gone awry, Jay's connection to Billy Joel, and hearing Jay's bass playing for the first time!

Albums discussed this week are...

  • Billy Joel - Piano Man
  • Van Morrison - Inarticulate Speech of the Heart
  • Graham Nash - Songs for Beginners
  • Gerry Rafferty - City to City
  • Jesse Colin Young - On the Road
  • Warren Zevon - The Envoy
