Jon Cain describes his journey as steps ordered by God. He thought his career in coaching would be in football, but instead his story pivoted with one trip to the women's basketball coach at Baylor. He walked into the office and asked to help in any way possible, which catapulted his career into collegiate athletics at the division one level. Relationships have been a major factor in every step in Jon's career; with getting a foot in the door in athletics, his role in a wooden bat league that produced multiple MLB players, and personally affected by his coaching at Concordia University that allowed him to mentor to several of his players.
