Today’s episode of The New IT Podcast takes a look at JobNumbus and what they look for when hiring qualified candidates. JobNimbus is changing the game in an innovative way by adopting a “proactive recruiting method.” While many candidates are still brought in an old-fashioned way, JobNimbus has taken it a step further by actively looking for those who would be a good fit within their company.

“If we know that we have a candidate, even if I don't have a job for them, but we know they're a cool person, they’ve got a skill set we might be able to use or they could be a good fit there, they can come to our weekly all-hands meeting. It's only 30 minutes long. Our CEO gives a very transparent and amazing presentation about the state of the company. And afterward, they have lunch with us. It's on the company, obviously. And then we'll introduce them not only to the people they would potentially work with but just anybody that might happen to be there. So they can see it, they can taste it, and they can be a part of the culture for 30 minutes.”

Brad Anderson, CEO of TechBridge, a Salt Lake City IT staffing company, and Bobby Glen James, Author, Speaker, and founder of BoTecha IT Support, along with guest speaker Nick, a JobNumbus representative, discuss what companies like JobNimbus look for in potential candidates. If you’re looking for ways to get ahead during the interview process, here is some key insight into how you can stand out in the tech industry! Hear what these tech experts have to say on the subject in this week’s episode of the New IT podcast, “Who is JobNumbus?”
