1οΈβƒ£πŸ‘§πŸ“In today's interview, I had the pleasure to talk to Sigrid Bost, who is one of the first people, with whom we talked about our podcast, back in July. As we were right at the planning stage of the podcast, we exchanged some ideas and wondered how our topic of different perspectives would be perceived. Would people be interested, would they like it? Those were the questions on our minds, and Sigrid was one of the people encouraging us to go for it.
😊πŸ‘₯πŸ—“Now our podcast is running for 3 months, and we are very proud, and happy that there are people who listen to it every day.
πŸŽ™βœˆοΈπŸ—ΊYet this interview is not only reserved for our backstory, Sigrid is passionate about traveling and her specific takeaways, and experiences. The biggest impacts happened on her three mayor stays abroad:
πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¦˜πŸ”„The first stay abroad was in Perth Australia, where she worked as an Au-pair to get new impulses for a change in her life, as she had just canceled her law studies, which were not suitable for her.
πŸ€—πŸ‘₯πŸ‘After that experience, she decided to study communication and marketing with a friend in Tilburg. Within the study program, the second abroad experience came along, which was in Brussels where she experienced the time of her life with a super international group of people.
πŸ‡²πŸ‡Όβ€οΈπŸ‘©β€πŸ’»Her third experience abroad was due to an internship for an organization in Malawi Africa. The beauty came, as she was able to dive into a really warm-hearted culture, which brings many different qualities than our western standard. Working on the communication of the organization there has brought her quite a lot of joy, as she was able to prepare herself through this practical experience for her master's in organization studies.
πŸ‘€πŸ”πŸ“–How did those parts of her life change her view? What were the biggest takeaways? And where does it take her in the future?
πŸ‘‚πŸŽ§πŸŽ™Check out the interview, as she goes into those questions and just brings a very refreshing perspective that has been build through those special parts of her life.
