Right now, the Salem area real estate market favors sellers. Multiple offer situations are increasingly common and many sellers are able to net more than their original list price. Also, housing inventory is very tight at the moment, which forces prices upwards. If you’ve even so much as thought about selling your home this year, our current market presents a great time to do so.

Along with the rise in prices, affordability has also been impacted by rising rates.
