Do you have children?

Do those children have access to the internet?

If so, please watch or listen to this conversation with Charlene Doak-Gebauer.

As you'll see and hear, it left Kevin at a loss for words.

Several times.

An international speaker, Charlene is the creator of the charitable organization, "Internet Sense First," the author of two books ("Digital Sexual Victims: True Cases" and "The Internet: Are Children in Charge?") and the drivng force behind The International Summit To End Child Exploitation (November 9, 2019 at the Hellenic Centre in London, Ontario, Canada).

I found some of what Charlene shared very difficult to hear. In consideration of that, I cannot image actually LIVING through what is happening to many children, right under our noses. We better hear about it and discuss it so that we can keep more people from living through it.

Among other things, we discussed:

- "Grooming," and how online sexual predators often communicate and what they do to draw out information from potential victims.

- Signs to look for from online gaming sexual predators.

- Why something that could well be in your child's phone - that they might think is funny - could actually be a criminal offence.

- An overview of the three steps to Charlene's model for digital supervision: a) Awareness b) Method (how and what to check) c) Hope

This is an important story that may well save lives and save families. If you have friends and family with children, please share this with them.
