映画、漫画やドラマなどで登場人物がしゃべる言葉には、「役割語」と言われる特殊なセリフまわしがあります。
我々は無意識に聞いていますが、各キャラクターは役に合った口調でセリフが割り当てられています。
見た目以上に、そのしゃべり口調でそのキャラクターがどんな性格なのかがわかりやすくする言葉。それを「役割語」といいます。
今回は、ジブリ作品「千と千尋の神隠し」の登場キャラクターのセリフを参考にしながら、役割語について考えます。
