In this episode, Barry talks to Captain Richard Nanton from Nanton Aviation Consulting - learning about Richard's odyssey from the Caribbean to becoming an airline pilot, and then onto the heady heights of becoming the Vice President of Flight Operations for Qatar Airways.
But that's not all!
Richard was also the Chief Pilot of Easyjet, Director of Flight Operations for Thomas Cook Airlines, Chief Training Manager at Jet2, and Vice President of Operations at GoAir.
Richard has flown 747 Jumbo Jets, Airbus airliners and is now flying an Airbus Corporate A320 Jet.
But there's more.
He's also working to help and advise on sustainable aviation and is a director for CarbonNet Zero furthering this important goal.
Richard's leadership background, as he explains in this episode has also led him to consult with organisations on Interest Based negotiations and industrial relations.
Overall an amazing career, delivered in Richard's typically modest style.
