  • Inappropriate and hurtful terms used by the authorities at times.
  • The problems WITHIN the authorities
  • A common response to sexual trauma (disassociation and the freeze response)
  • An expanded understanding of the 3 F's, now 5 - Fight, Flight, Freeze, Flop, Friend.
  • The need to understand the psychology of the perpetrators.
