Lawyer James Manson takes us through an anti-SLAPP motion he filed in the $300 million lawsuit against Freedom Convoy protestors and donors. He explains why in this instance--a class action nuisance lawsuit--an anti-SLAPP motion is unique. But it fits here because the case involves free expression on issues of public policy. And it was for cases of free expression on issues of public policy that anti-SLAPP legislation was written.
