Center and Left parties in France move to block surging right wing

In the wake of the elections, France’s parties are scrambling to form an alliance to block the right-wing National Rally from achieving power in the upcoming second round of voting for the national parliament. We spoke with Dr. Miriam Rossman, an historian and expert on Israel-French relations, on the ramifications of the surging anti-immigration National Rally. She told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that Marine Le Pen’s party had little experience running a country and it could be France’s President Emmanuel Macron’s ploy to expose that before Presidential elections in a few years time.
