The classic “Suspense” radio series returns to Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre with “August Heat” by W.F. Harvey, this Friday at noon on KKFI 90.1 FM.

Originally aired May 31st, 1945 “August Heat” tells of Withecroft an artist struck by inspiration who draws a criminal in his trial. Across town Atkinson, a stonemason, carves a gravestone for a man who has yet to die. Unknown to each other both men get a glimpse into each other’s future, but hopefully the future is not so set in stone.

Featuring John Rensenhouse, Victor Raider-Wexler, and Meredith Wolfe. Directed by Gary Heisserer with sound design and engineering by Mary Robinson.
