There is a long and rich history behind ham radios which are crucial in emergencies. The Santa Barbara Amateur Radio Club is hosting an event this weekend to show the public what they do - and how anyone can get involved. They'll be setting up their gear along Santa Barbara's waterfront this weekend to provide a demonstration of their emergency communications abilities as part of the nationwide 2024 Amateur Radio Field Day.
