Keep Grinding - Mindset For Success

Guest: Tina Toplak Bio: For singer and songwriter Tina Toplak there is nothing more important than believing that everything will fall into place with a little self-trust. She knows that genuine music connects with fans on a more intimate level, and can be hard to come by in the modern age. It’s important to Tina that she’s “motivating people to live their true values, be themselves, and enjoy life”, which is a large part of what makes her music so special. Knowing that she can make a difference is what drives her to keep writing music, and also to take a hands-on approach throughout the entirety of the creation process. She wants to prove that artists can be successful without having to give up their independence by producing all her own content, whether that be music, visuals, or even marketing campaigns. Whether it is through her writing, production, or just the way she thinks about her music Tina’s personal style has been inspired by an eclectic range of artists. While Whitney Houston was the voice that brought her to music she has since learned to appreciate music from all genres. Some favorites are powerhouse voices like Adele and Jessie J, hip-hop/R&B legends Drake and Rihanna, and icon Michael Jackson. When she’s songwriting Tina likes to remind herself of something Michael once said, “don’t try and write the music, let it write itself”. It allows her to take the pressure off of herself, which creates the authentic sound Tina is known for. When she isn’t making music Tina likes to switch her focus from connecting with fans to connecting with herself. She takes part in regular wellness practices, including a daily yoga and meditation routine that help her renew her positive energy. She also loves tearing up a dance floor when she goes out for a night on the town with her friends, and pretty much anything else where she can have a fun, goofy time. However, at the end of the day, Tina is really looking forward to any new challenge that’s sent her way, whether it be participating in a Bear Grylls Survival Tour, flying a plane, or maybe even building a vintage car from scratch. As she looks forward to a future of possibilities Tina will be preparing to release an EP at the end of the year, and is trying to get on the road to meet fans soon. She’s also looking to make a move to the US soon after recently signing with elite US based management company, Arrow Music Agency.
