Division One College Football kicks off this week in Montana with Big Sky player getting underway so on this week's Inter Lake Sports Now we break down two things to watch for both the Montana State Bobcats and University Of Montana Grizzlies in Week One. Will the Bobcats look to put more of the workload on their running backs near the goal line or will Montana State continue to let their quarterbacks pound the rock near the end zone + How do Tommy Mellott and Sean Chambers split snaps in week one.
As for the Grizzlies will they let their new starting QB let it rip in week one or will they take a more conservative approach + What new faces step up on the defensive side of the ball and will the Griz have a more evenly balanced rushing attack in 2023 or continue to let Nick Ostmo be the lead bell cow. These are all things to watch in week one as college football is officially underway in the Big Sky state
On the local side of things Josh goes over the prep football roundup and highlights the strong play of the Glacier Wolfpack in week one with video highlights. Plus, a quick recap of the Flathead Braves, Columbia Falls Wildcats, Whitefish Bulldogs, Bigfork Vikings, and Polson Pirates from week one of high school football in Montana.
Also, the Glacier Range Riders season is coming to and in early September so Josh goes over the remaining home games at Glacier Bank Park this season.
