You’re tired of looking into your closet every morning and seeing the same things hanging there. Chances are that wardrobe closet needs a “spring cleaning” but a fashion makeover can get expensive and where do you even begin? Fortunately we have the design expert who can get you on the right track. For seven seasons on the set of the TV series “The Good Wife”, costume designer Dan Lawson has used his creative talent to ensure every character looks pressed and polished in trend-setting workday attire and casual clothing alike. Now as the show draws to a close with the series finale on May 8th, Dan shares his experiences working with the cast and lends his expertise to budget conscious fashionistas looking to put some spring sizzle in their attire. In this interview, Dan will share: Which basic pieces are must-haves as the foundation of your fashion style When to buy those trendy items and get the best bang for the buck Behind-the-scene methods he uses to ensure the hundreds of wardrobe changes look great in-between takes. His favorite places to shop for fashion bargains Daniel Lawson is the costume designer for the critically acclaimed drama series “The Good Wife” which earned him an Emmy nomination for costume design. Dan made his first foray into television assisting on “One Life To Live.” Dan has worked on television series “OZ”, “Dellaventura”, “Trinity”, “Law and Order”. His first prime time designs were for the series, “Third Watch” followed by “Waterfront” “Kings” and “Bored To Death”and “Lipstick Jungle”. This past fall, Dan teamed up with British designer, Andrea Cohen, founder of boutique brand number35 and launched his first collection of elegant business wear for women. He also has a capsule collection of jewelry with PONO called Dan Lawson for PONO.
