A volunteer for many years, Andrew Marshall shares his experience as one of the many personnel behind the scenes to help Mt Barker United prepare for thier place in the State League 2 competition. Having grown up in the UK, playing football in Australia was a way to meet new people for Andrew. Starting off as a player and eventually taking on many roles around the club. Andrew opens up about the toll volunteering, playing football whilst juggling work and home life took on his health and explains the formation of Mt Barkers yearly charity match in memory of Nathan Done and how it brings the community together.
