Paul’s story is very moving, confronting but overall filled with hope. Over the past two decades, Paul has spent multiple nights in some of the darkest places on the face of the planet, rescuing children who have been sold into the global sex trade. He has felt a drive to do what he can to mobilise a movement of people to help bring an end to the abuse that is handed out to kids who are trapped in a place without hope and enable them to rediscover their destiny of a fruitful life.

Paul has fought for the rights of children who are trapped in the most horrific situations both in Australia and overseas. He describes first- hand the impact human trafficking has on the lives of children and the exhilaration and sheer relief experienced by victims when they are freed.

Biography

Paul trained as an accountant with KPMG, he has also worked in two of Australia’s largest charities, The Salvation Army and Compassion. He joined Destiny Rescue as Executive Partnerships Manager in 2019, before taking the CEO role in April 2021.

Paul has a Grad Dip in International Development and has spent many years in the developing world working with people who live in extreme poverty or have been sold into slavery.
