As it’s National Sibling Day, here’s a commentary from Karen and her brother, Steve! This time they watched an instalment from another series that was big in their teenage years: the 1995 James Bond movie Goldeneye. Marvel at the ancient computers! Roll your eyes at the Bond franchise’s lurching attempts to not be as sexist as past movies! Puzzle at the facial expressions that count as acting!
While the episode was recorded for listeners to watch along, for those that can’t/don’t want to, you can still listen as a regular podcast, albeit with a few empty spaces we would usually have cut out. Otherwise, grab your VHS tapes and join us as we watch the adventures of the other Time Lord in popular media.
