This week your panicked hosts, Heather and Andy, are joined via technology by climate policy expert Jeff Kessler to talk about the future of energy in the US. The team talk about how the recent election will affect climate policy, how Myron Ebell’s appointment to the EPA will change how the US will react to climate change in the coming years, and how California’s continuing energy policies may save us.
Jeff holds a PhD from the University of California in energy and climate policy, and also co-hosts the Watts Radio program/podcast. He wrote an article on much of what we talked about for The Energy Collective, which you can catch here. He also recommended several works by Roger Pielke, Jr., including The Honest Broker. Finally, near the end of the podcast, he recommended donating to the ACLU, which is fantastic idea.
Thanks for listening!
