Perhaps you’ll find it surprising that people who don’t have a fixed address can spend much of their day being kind and helpful to others.
Reporter Sarah Reith has been talking with people we wouldn’t ordinarily get to know. She’s been interviewing men and women in Mendocino County who are struggling to find a steady place to live, while fighting to create stability in their lives. She’s got two stories for us today – the first from Sean Jarstrom, whose life used to revolve around buying and taking drugs – but who is now sober.
Catch up with more of Sarah Reith’s reporting on the homeless crisis in Mendocino County at KRCB.org./news. Hear this story on demand with our free KRCB mobile app. You can also find this and past stories on our new North Bay Report Facebook page. Comment, share and give us a like there.
