Movits! slog igenom 2008 med debutskivan Äppelknyckarjazz. Deras kombination av rap inspirerad av vis-sång och en unik blandning av hiphop och swingjazz tog dem ända till USA.
Efter att ha medverkat i Colbert Report toppade plötsligt skivan hiphoplistan och slog amerikanska veteraner som Snoop Dogg.
Sedan dess har soundet utvecklats och framgångarna avlöst varandra för Luleå-killarna i bandet.
Och frontmannen Johan Rensfeldt har nyss sjösatt sitt soloprojekt Champion J.R. där han gör dancehall och reggae på svenska.
