ALS Ice Bucket Challenge makes a cool return

Remember the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? Ten years later, the viral campaign is fundraising again.

Dozens of people, including Massachusetts' governor and several sports stars, dumped cold water on themselves at Fenway Park yesterday to mark the 10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The event is part of an effort to renew interest in the viral social media campaign that has raised money to find a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Organizers say the campaign has raised $250 million thus far and led to an additional $1 billion in research funding.
