Meat producer BrucePac has recalled nearly 10 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry items over concerns they may be contaminated with listeria. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says routine testing found the Oklahoma-based company's ready-to-eat chicken is the source of the contamination. The food was shipped to distributors nationwide, then distributed to restaurants and other food establishments. So far, there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses. The BrucePac recall comes after illnesses and deaths were reported last month in connection with a nationwide listeria outbreak the CDC linked to recalled Boar's Head deli meats.
