Sin is a word that we have removed from our vocabulary and replaced it with words that minimize what sin is all about - that there is a moral absolute - uncomfortable with the guilt when we have fallen short of Gods standard. We have therefore minimized the whole concept of sin - in doing so we have maximized the consequences of sin - we watch it continually mess up the lives of people.
