We will explore this parable from the perspective that Jesus was actually talking about two prodigals—the younger, overtly rebellious son, and the older, self righteous brother. We will look at how we as individuals and as a church can use the inspiration and teaching of this parable to create a community that welcomes all kinds of prodigals, and that extends ourselves to the world as a result of a personal experience with the unconditional love of God.
