La Rete Radio Montana è un progetto nazionale che mira ad incrementare la sicurezza in montagna per mezzo delle comunicazioni radio. Luca Gianotti intervista Piermario Clara, un camminatore che ha aderito al progetto. Si usa una frequenza radio di libero uso in banda PMR-446 (UHF), unificata a livello nazionale, impiegata per l'interscambio di informazioni di sicurezza tra più persone durante le attività in natura. Per aderire è sufficiente comprare un walkie talkie da 100 grammi, con costo limitato, ma di grande portata.
