Daniana Trigoso-Kukulski is the Executive Director of Developing Integrity in Families and Youth (DIFY Foundation), a non-profit organization focused on empowering children, young adults, and families. Originally from Peru, Daniana has a compelling story of her journey to the United States. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education and an MBA in Human Resources and Social Projects from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Lima, Peru, Daniana brings a strong educational background to her work. She has also pursued Child Development Associate and International Relations studies at Indianapolis Indiana University, further enhancing her expertise.With over 20 years of experience in various settings and with diverse clients, Daniana employs a personalized approach that caters to the unique needs of each individual. Her extensive background includes management experience in strategic planning and new business start-ups, particularly in the non-profit sector. Daniana's passion for helping others led her to establish DIFY, a non-profit organization that promotes integrity, education, and leadership among families and youth. Through this initiative, she has successfully developed and implemented five community programs aimed at educating and preventing drug abuse, reducing crime, and fostering leadership in women, youth, and adolescents. During her tenure in Indianapolis, Indiana, which spanned over 14 years, Daniana fostered strong relationships with 200 community service agencies dedicated to promoting civic engagement and advocacy for children and families. Her role involved assisting families in setting and achieving goals, as well as providing support to overcome challenges such as domestic violence and sexual assault.In 2015, Daniana relocated to Houston, Texas, where she continues her dedicated service to disadvantaged families. Her responsibilities include providing comprehensive client services for disaster recovery, including relief efforts, assessments, supportive services, information and referral, advocacy, and the development of long-term recovery plans. Additionally, she actively engages thought leaders and corporate partners in discussions surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion for low-income workers and refugees. In recent years, Daniana served as the Executive Director for the Faith and Justice Worker Center, where she committed herself to community advocacy and served as a voice for Houston's low-income, refugee, and immigrant workers.
