As President and CEO of Kauffman Fellows, Jeff Harbach leads the team in delivering a world-class experience for each Fellow, providing leading-edge content around capital formation, and creating networking opportunities to help Fellows maximize their personal and professional development. As a Fellow from Class 16, he has brought a unique perspective and passion for the organization to the team since he joined as Managing Director for recruitment and class design in June 2014.

Jeff has been an entrepreneur and investor since 2002, and was Executive Director of the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN), based out of Austin, TX, from 2011–2013. He has led multiple startups, including two 7-Eleven stores, a luxury furniture store and interior design firm, a golf destination club, and a private country club golf network. He was also an angel investor himself with the Vegas Valley Angels.

Jeff holds a BS in business management/information systems from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he served as the Director of the Venture Fellows program and the co-founder of Texas Venture Labs.

He is married to his sweetheart and has four beautiful daughters, with whom he spends much of his time away from work. Jeff is also an ecclesiastical leader in his church and spends 15+ hours each week serving the members of the congregation. He enjoys all sports and outdoor activities, particularly golf, tennis, and running.
