Series: N/A

Service: Sunday AM

Type: Sermon

Speaker: Jamie Helmick

Source Text: John 5

According to the reading of John 5, where was the pool located?

Why was the lame man there at the pool?

When Jesus asked him if he wanted to be healed, what did he say?

Why were the Jews persecuting Jesus here?

What is some Reassurance that we are NOT alone?

“I will _______ _______ ______ nor __________ you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my __________; I will not _______; what can man do to ___?” -Hebrews13:5b & 6

What holds me back from changes I need to make in my life?

What Old Testament connection could the Jews make in the miracle of Jesus healing the
lame man?

Jesus wants to help us, but we must do our part. According to Hebrews 11:6, what is He wanting from us? ___________________

And what will we receive if we live like that? ___________________________________

Let’s all serve fervently & faithfully!

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For
his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
- Philippians 3:8
