In the first part of the fourth episode of the Law Booth, Maria DeBono, an Associate within the Corporate & Commercial department at the firm, discusses Subsidiary Legislation 386.24 titled the “Companies Act (Suspension of Filing for Dissolution and Winding Up) Regulations” (the “Regulations”) with Senior Associate Thomas Bugeja and Associate Nikol Caruana, both also working within the same department at the Firm, to provide our listeners with an introduction to the Regulations and what they entail. In the second part of the episode, Maria is joined by none other than the Official Receiver within the Malta Business Registry, Dr. Kevan Azzopardi who sits down to answer some of our pressing questions regarding the Regulations and how these have played out in practice.
