Lord Meghnad Desai is a Member of the British House of Parliament (House of Lords), and was awarded the Padma Bhushan (India’s 3rd Highest Civilian Honor) in 2008. He is Professor Emeritus, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he taught Economics for 38 years – truly commendable!
He is one of the most receptive and warm leaders I have met. Met him last week at the British High Commissioner’s Residence and before I knew it, I was interviewing him the very next day at his residence. Truly warm and truly receptive!
