Meet Assemblywoman Brittney Miller
Brittney Miller is a middle school teacher and Nevada State Assemblywoman for District 5. Brittney is a doer and made the decision to enter politics because she wanted to be a part of the solution. Although she was originally told not to run and ran a grassroots campaign against an endorsed candidate, she won her primary and ultimately her seat. Listen as Brittney shares insight into what it’s like to have two careers, what a day-in-the-life of a politician looks like, and how she spearheaded an initiative that better-defined class-size for Clark County students.
Fun Fact: Nevada is currently tied for first in the nation with a Legislature that is comprised of 40% women and a Congressional delegation of 50% women.
