Paul McNulty on 9/11 and Leadership in Crisis
Manage episode 305560345 series 2999390
It's now been 20 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. The events of that day had far-reaching effects, but few people experienced them the way Paul McNulty did. At the time, he was a senior leader in the U.S. Department of Justice and eventually was responsible for the prosecution of many of those responsible for the planning of the 9/11 attacks. He now serves as the president of Grove City College, a position he has held since 2004. In this episode, he joined Matthew Hall and Vivek Sarin for a conversation reflecting on those events 20 years ago, the lessons learned by leading under pressure, and how organizations can build healthy cultures of accountability.
